Swanson Surveying recently took part in the annual E&S Golf Classic held at Curlewis Golf Course, near Geelong, on the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula – proudly raising money to help fund the great work that the Give Where You Live Foundation do in our region. A sold out field of over 120 golfers from close to 40 local businesses, tee’d off and raised a whopping $106,000 for the local community.
The GWYL Foundation has the goal of building a fairer, more equitable community, and is dedicated to creating opportunities and removing barriers to ensure that every member of our community has the opportunity to not only survive, but thrive. They prioritise and focus on food security, homelessness assistance, inclusive employment and an inclusive economy, and use every resource they have to undertake a wide range of activities that help create community change.
Swanson Surveying is proud to be associated with this wonderful organisation, and while the golf wasn’t anything to write home about (with the exception of Toby winning the straight drive competition!), we were thrilled to provide sponsorship to the event and look forward to heading back next year.
