Construction Surveying, Geelong – Point Wilson Waterside Infrastructure Upgrade Project

Swanson Surveying have recently been engaged to provide engineering surveying services to the Point Wilson Waterside Infrastructure Upgrade Project. The project is located between Melbourne and Geelong and is being constructed by CPB on behalf of the Department of Defence to remediate the Point Wilson Explosives Area infrastructure. The works include:

• A new wharf and link structure
• Refurbished jetty piles and new jetty deck
• Refurbished and new mooring and berthing infrastructure
• Upgrade and replacement of the support infrastructure involving electrical, communications, hydraulics and fire services.

Swanson Surveying has been engaged by the marine and civil contractors on the project to provide land and marine based construction surveying services including:

• Upgrade and maintenance of the site survey control network
• Land based piling and structural set out and as-constructed surveys
• Marine Pile set out and as-constructed surveys
